J.Donnery Letter From:- Michelle Paterson I believe my great grandfather, James Donnery went to Liverpool Collegiate School. I am currently researching my family tree and just cannot find him anywhere else in records. I would be grateful if you could advise me whether I could look at registers or admissions forms. He was born in 1884 and, my mum says learnt beautiful copperplate writing at the school. Hope you can help. Kind regards, Michelle Paterson Thank you for your letter. As we mentioned, in our email to you, we only really have records of current members of our Old Boys' Association. However, we have lent a lot of old memorabilia to the Liverpool Records Office who may be able to help. You should be able to find them easily enough on the internet. However, we are always pleased to publish letters, such as yours, on our web site, in the hope that some of our old boys may be able to help you. Best of luck, in your search, and do let us know how you get on because it will be of interest to our members. Webmaster@liverpool-collegiate.org.uk |
