Ian Alexander (1959 – 2022) Obituary

Ian passed away suddenly on 8^th March 2022.

He was the proud father of Joe, devoted son of Rene and loving brother of Colin. Our sympathies go out to all his family.

Many Liverpool Collegiate Old Boys may not have known Ian, but he could be described as a flamboyant, Bohemian dandy. He was a quiet,

 humorous companion and a regular attendee of the annual COBA dinners at the Athenaeum club. Ian attended the Collegiate between 1971

 and 1976 and later studied at art college, making a career as a graphic designer and freelance artist. In his younger days, Ian was a skilful

footballer and, throughout his life, an avid supporter of Liverpool FC. He also had a keen interest in astrology and numerology.

He has gone too soon and will be sadly missed by those who knew him personally and those who met him at the various Collegiate functions.

 Ian Alexander: - a unique individual, who brought an air of extravagance and a lot of friendship to the Liverpool Collegiate school, which

 meant so much to him.

Ian’s funeral will take place at Anfield Crematorium on Thursday 7^th April at 2 p.m.
