ALAN TURNBULL Received: September 2022 (by email) From:
Heidi Welch My father Alan Turnbull (1940 – 2021) passed away last December in Worcestershire aged 81. He attended the Collegiate in the 1950s, going on to obtain a degree from Liverpool University and returning to the Collegiate to start his career in teaching Physics. Alan married in Liverpool and then moved to Worcestershire to take up a post as Head of Science at Dyson Perrins C of E Secondary School in Malvern in 1972. Alan worked at Dysons until early retirement in 1996 after which he enjoyed a full and happy life travelling the world and continuing to contribute to church, conservation and local council activities in his local community. He is sadly missed by his wife, two children and 5 grandchildren.
If you would like to communicate any of that to your membership in any subsequent publication of the newsletter please feel free. I am afraid I am a little hazy on dates but he had fond memories of the Collegiate and was I believe very proud to have been part of it.
