Dear David,

I have to tell you that I have moved from Horley to Devon to live with my sister. She lost her husband and I have lost my wife. Both four and five years ago, so it is convenient we share a bungalow.

The Summer Newsletter, which I received today, was redirected by the Post Office.

Reference is made in the newsletter to Leonard Rossiter. If my memory is not playing tricks, we were in the same class. He was evacuated to Maghull . I was evacuated to Bangor, but returned to the school in 1940.

Many thanks to you as Secretary and Ron James as editor of the newsletter.

Please excuse the scribble but at 97 I am finding it difficult to put pen to paper.

Yours sincerely,

Colin Hutchinson
